About Greg

Hi, I'm a photographer & blogger. I also like pie.

Happy Independence Day, Photo Review

This photo was taken on this day one year ago in Stuart, Florida. I’m putting it up for review because well it’s the 4th and I wanted to post something light on content opposed to tomorrows interview with photographer Thomas Hawk. Why? Because it’s the fourth of july and you should get off the computer and spend it with your friends and family! While taking pictures of them for our Flick Group. Continue reading

Mario Zanaria Interview

Mario Zanaria is predominately a black & white photographer. He shoots with a range of cameras in both formats digital and film. He lives and works in Milan, Italy. While his photographs have been viewed across all of Europe and most of Asia, North America, and parts of South America. With countless comments on each of his photographs Mario has built a fan base full of intelligent and thoughtful people who give him wonderful feedback. That continues to push his limits in the realm of photography. As a photographer and a person I can only wish we all can be as fortunate. My friend named Gary V. has said time and time again, “Legacy is greater than Currency.” Mario is building his Legacy right now as you read with each snap of his shutter. I am pleased to give you my interview with the wonderful and talented Mario Zanaria. Continue reading

Greg Schmigel Interview

Just What I See, iPhone Photographer Greg Schmigel was introduced to me via a comment on my personal blog about iPhone Photography + iPhone 2.0 Camera App. Predictions. He left a link which I followed to find not just a few photos taken with the iPhone’s camera but actually hundreds! So I read pretty much ever word on his site which isn’t much since its focus is on the images. Which I looked at heavily as-well. So I wanted to find out more about the another Greg. So here is the interview with Greg Schmigel. Continue reading

Emily Cross Interview

I first met Emily Cross in a coffee shop in Stuart, Florida I believe. We had a brief few moments to get acquainted. Before I was whisked away to my finial destination with my friend. Before I left I was able to get a real sense that she loved photography. Photography is just one of the things we had in common as I found out most of our friends were friends of friends. Which brings up the whole six degrees of separation. I truly believe we are all connected by someone. Later that night half drunk from the party I finally ended up at. I made it home login onto flickr and found hers. I was very surprised in what I found. In today’s age of digital photography most people are shooting on digital my self included. She is shooting almost entirely on film! I found this refreshing and when this Photograview came about she was one of the first people I contacted. So here is the interview with the young and talented Emily Cross. Continue reading
